We had a
group meeting at 9 am in the clubhouse at Natchitoches RV Park in Natchitoches,
La. to discuss today’s trip to Shreveport, La. During the meeting we had pumpkin cake (yum)
and other goodies and coffee. After the
meeting we went back to our RVs and got ready to leave the RV Park.
The first thing we did was head back to
Natchitoches to the Walmart Supercenter to pick up a few items. When we got out of our rig there was Chris
Muench Rig # 14 pulling into the parking space right next to us. We walked into Walmart together and then parted
ways.
We left
Walmart and got on Route 49 and headed for Shreveport.
We arrived at
Diamond Jacks RV park at 12:30 pm. Went
into office to register and went to our site. I [Marilyn] took my puppy Rosie for a walk. She was looking for all her new doggie pals
especially Emmy (her new best friend).
At 2:45 pm we all gathered to go to the Chocolate Crocodile. At the Chocolate Crocodile we learned about chocolate. After we dipped strawberries into chocolate and ate them. Delicious they were.
After that we
walked around with Joe and Donna Risley Rig #16, whom we rode with to the
Chocolate Crocodile. Then we left and
went back to the RV Park.
We talked to
the women about pet walking for tomorrow when we go on the guided Shreveport
tour.
Later we went
to the casino. There we happened to see
Mary Dahm. She said she won $192 (or maybe
it was $1.92). lol
We then left
the casino and got a ride back to the RV park to our rig. That was all for this day.
